SPDY started with one goal in mind, to help people and contractors locate each other in an efficient manner.  We noticed that many times contractors were driving long distances to meet customers when available contractors were already in the neighborhood.  We decided to change that process by addressing the logistics of the operation and connecting customers with available contractors who were already nearby.
